Govt sets rules to subsidize electronics makers up to 1.5 bln rbl/yr

MOSCOW, Aug 2 (PRIME) -- The Russian government has approved the rules of allocating subsidies, ranging up to 1.5 billion rubles a year, to the radio electronics developers, the government said on August 1 in a statement.

“The developers of the electronic component base and its modules can receive federal subsidies. The order and terms of receipt of such support were approved by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin,” the statement read.

“The subsidies are allocated for the projects developed during five years. A subsidy amounts up to 1.5 billion rubles a year. Thanks to the state assistance, the producers can redeem up to 90% of costs.”

The money can be spent on research and development of products, salaries, equipment and creation of high-tech jobs, prototype making, and others.
